I've tried a thermos! The most important thing for me was to be able to shake it to mix the sugar without it becoming a geyser because of the heat (which, incidentally, holds well for long enough). Well, I've found it! It's been 2 years since I got mine and it has not budged in spite of the dishwasher. Still no leak! I will go and buy me a new one because my husband spends his time at bite me mine!!!!! Excellent multi-purpose tool, very useful in hiking. Does not take up much space. I've already forgotten, after having filled up on my sink when I'm back home 10am after, the drink was still warm (yes, very warm, not cold) The only downside would be, in fact its too large capacity of conservation thermal: unable to drink as soon as the kettle poured out, even when you leave the mug open (=without cap), to cool.
